WHY SUBTRACT USING A NUMBER LINE?

It is important for students to understand subtraction deeply. When students start learning subtraction using concrete representations and move toward mental math, they learn to think flexibly about subtraction and use subtraction efficiently to work out everyday problems.

This three-day Number Line subtraction course is the third of my four-level Singing Through Subtraction series.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
