In this one time course you will learn all about subtracting positive and negative integers!
Class experience
In this 40 minute class, students will learn to subtract positive and positive integers, negative and negative integers, and positive and negative integers. Students should already know what an integer is. We will learn the concept, practice a few problems, and there will be a little time for questions. I will check for understanding throughout the 40 minutes. To introduce the concept I will teach using a whiteboard and a number line. For practice problems I will have a slide of problems...
Students will improve their understanding of adding positive and negative numbers. That includes positive subtracted from positive, negative subtracted from negative, and positive subtracted from negative.
