Does your child have an interest in submarines, modern or historical? Come learn about how a submarine works, and other fun facts! While we are talking, students are also invited to create their very own Lego submarine to share at the end of class. The Lego build portion of the class will not be guided, as students are encouraged to create their submarine however they think is best. Students will learn fun submarine facts, as well as how a submarine submerges and surfaces. In addition, students will learn fun facts about different submarines throughout history.
I work at a World War II submarine museum, where our largest artifact is a Gato class submarine!
Students will need to have their own supply of Legos for this class. You will want to have them out and accessible before the start of our session.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
