Class Experience

Put on your favorite pajamas and cozy up with your favorite stuffed animal! Learners will listen to soft music as we wind down and get our stuffed animals ready for bed.

We will begin by introducing ourselves and our stuffed animals, and talk about our day. I will give everyone plenty of time to share! Then we will dress our stuffed animals in their PJ’s (or wrap them up in a blanket if they don't have PJ's) and read them a bedtime story or two. Lots of stuffed animal cuddling will be encouraged during story time! We will talk about our bedtime routines and things we are looking forward to the next day. To end our class we will tuck our stuffed animals into bed, sing them a bedtime song, and tell them goodnight. We will sing a fun goodnight song to each other before signing off!

In the materials section below you can find everything you will need for this class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Ms. Kasey and I primarily teach babysitter training courses, phonics and reading classes, and child-driven play and show-and-tell classes.

Reading and playing helps learners to make meaningful connections that are important for healthy brain development and development of the skills needed to engage and interact in the world around them.

I have always loved children! I went from young babysitter, to nanny, to wife and mom of four children...receiving my AA in Education along the way. I have the privilege of educating my elementary-aged children at home and love being so involved in their early education and social-emotional learning. I look forward to being involved in your child’s learning too!

I love reading aloud with my kids, spending time outside, and discovering new playgrounds with them. I enjoy coffee, audiobooks, camping, and baking. My home is filled with lots of energy and love.

During my classes, learners will make connections with new friends and gain confidence in sharing their interests and ideas. I want your learners to feel safe and special in my class, and to have fun!

Please reach out if you have any questions.
