Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, students will discover their learning style and how to use it to learn and retain information more effectively and efficiently. We will focus on the top three learning styles - auditory, visual, or hands-on (Kinesthetic). After introductions, students will take a questionnaire to pinpoint their learning styles. Once learning styles are determined, we will then discuss each learning style and how to use their learning style to learn and retain more information. We will...
Students will learn their learning style in order to begin to study smarter not harder. Students will learn tips on how to use their learning style. Students will practice their learning style.
I have been teaching study skills for over 20 years.
After each class, students will receive a handout highlighting how to apply their learning style.
Please have paper, pencil, and a note card.
I do not not formally assess any student, but I will gladly provide parents with my classroom observations.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
