In this one-time class, students will discover their learning style and how to use it to learn and retain information more effectively and efficiently. We will focus on the top three learning styles - auditory, visual, or hands-on (Kinesthetic). After introductions, students will take a questionnaire to pinpoint their learning styles. Once learning styles are determined, we will then discuss each learning style and how to use their learning style to learn and retain more information. We will wrap up by practicing a few of the learning styles and techniques.

Although this class is teacher-directed (I will be using a PowerPoint presentation), there will be plenty of student interaction throughout as I ask student-directed questions. At the end of class, students will be emailed a hand-out that details their learning styles as well as techniques for using their learning styles. This one-time class is a great start for students looking to enhance their learning.

Please note depending on the number of students enrolled, the length of the class will be between 45 and 55 minutes.
