Description

Class Experience

Students will learn to take effective and useful notes. 

Students will participate in Socratic Seminars in alignment with the Common Core Anchor Standards » College and Career Readiness Anchor Standards for Speaking and Listening.

Students will be able to compare and contrast mainstream media and the impact of human experience.
Students are encouraged to practice with the note taking techniques using media of their choosing outside of class. 

Reading and watching films or news articles may be required outside of class time to ensure appropriate discussions during class.
No need to make any purchase. All information will be shared via links or PDF documents. A notebook or notebook paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
