This course is designed to help students complete assignments, navigate virtual learning, seek help from an educator, and develop friendships and relationships with peers. Students who enroll in this course will have 2 study halls a week for 45 minutes each with an experienced classroom teacher to get homework help and/or other virtual learning support. They will work on their individual homework assignments while interacting with other students and the teacher for support. Discussion and interaction are required elements of this class and students are STRONGLY urged to use their cameras and microphones in order to receive the full benefits of this class. *****If there are fewer than 3 students enrolled, then this class may be postponed or cancelled.***** Class structure: 5 to 10 minutes - Introductions to get to know one another, share what students hope to accomplish during class time. 25 to 35 minutes - Students will be working on their individual assignments and are encouraged to ask for help as needed from fellow classmates and/or the teacher. 5 to 10 - Closing of class where students can share what they were able to accomplish and if they feel a deeper understanding for the content they completed.
