Mrs. Vallarta has been focusing on anime/art on Outschool since February 2018. As a personal avid anime enthusiast, she is familiar with many series, genres, characters and can teach how to execute any aspect of this. Homework will be optional and highly beneficial. Homework outside of the classroom typically takes under an hour to complete.
💠 Watercolors 💠 Watercolor brushes 💠 Watercolor paper 💠 Cup (for water) 💠 Towels/rags (excess water/accidental spillage) 💠 Pencil 💠 Pencil sharpener 💠 Eraser (vinyl recommended) 💠 Fine-tip permanent pen (Sharpie and Micron recommended) 💠 Blue painters tape (optional)
Assessments can be offered upon request. Please reach out and Mrs. V can work with your request.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be painting throughout this class. Please set up an area where your child can use the computer while working with paint. Students will be encouraged to work on an angled surface. You can attach the watercolor paper with tape to a board and prop it or use a book to prop against. This is highly recommended as we will use gravity to manipulate the paint.
We will be referring to multiple films from the Japanese animation studio; Studio Ghibli.
