Studio Ghibli Series: Spirited Away: A Conversation on Japanese Folklore & Myth

Students will learn/enjoy the following: 
✅ Introduction to the religion, Shintoism. 
✅ Japanese mythology that may have influenced some iconic characters. 
✅ Animal influences for some mythical creatures. 
✅ Personal experiences and influences from the director implemented in the film. 
✅ Fun facts about the Studio Ghibli film, Spirited Away. 
✅ A deep appreciation of this amazing film. 

Mrs. Vallarta has been focusing on anime/art on Outschool since February 2018. As a personal avid anime enthusiast, she is familiar with many series, genres, characters and can teach how to execute any aspect of this. Mrs. Vallarta has her Bachelors in Fine Arts and has taught art for 18+ years. Five of those years has been online. 
Mrs. Vallarta offers over 50 different types of courses that include but not limited to; general anime, anatomy, art, drawing, watercoloring and more.  

No homework necessary.

1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
