Description

Class Experience

After taking this course students will be able to.....
         1. add a new event to a Google Calendar
         2. edit an existing event
         3. set up reminders for upcoming events
         4. evenly spread out tasks for larger projects to avoid procrastination
         5. link Google Keep and Google Calendar
         6. create a note in Google Keep
         7. share an event or entire calendar with a parent, classmate or teacher
         8. add colors and pictures to notes and events
Students should continue to use Google Calendar and the skills they learn to keep organized and stay productive.
Students will need a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone with access to Google apps. They will also need to set up a free Google account prior to the class. The Google account can be in the form of a personal account, school account or parent account.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental permission should be granted for students to either set up their own Google account or access a family/parent account.
