Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will increase their understanding in topics they may be struggling with academically.
I am an experienced middle/high school social studies (U.S. and world history, economics, government/civics, geography), English, personal finance, and computers teacher, therefore I can offer the most instruction and support in these areas.

As an experienced teacher, I have a vast knowledge of teaching strategies and the ability to differentiate instruction to best suit a learner's abilities. I will use whatever teaching strategies will allow the learner to be the most successful.
Learners may need writing utensils, the class textbook, a notebook or other materials to help facilitate learning in each session. Through close collaboration families, learners and I will decide what supplies are needed for sessions.
Informal assessments will be "given" through questioning throughout each class session.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
