Class Experience

Beginner Level
In this Intro to Acoustic Guitar Class, I will cover basic fundamentals of the guitar. Students will learn all about the instrument including how to hold the guitar and the main components of the guitar. Students will also learn about finger numbers and the proper number order and notes of all 6 strings. After having an understanding of these basic concepts, they will learn how to play a clear single note on the guitar. Lastly, students will learn to play their first song using the new skill learned. I will demonstrate how to play the song first and then allow students to practice as a group. After practicing, each student will get a chance to play the song for the class. To keep the class engaged and to insure every student is tracking along, I will ask questions throughout the lesson and encourage my students to ask questions after demonstrating each concept.
