Structured Spanish for Kids & Teens (Essentials for Beginners W/ Syllabus)

The learner will be introduced to Spanish by native Mexican teacher. Including greetings, numbers, essential vocabulary, essential verbs, present and future tenses, adjectives and other essentials. Get ready for Spanish Level I.

Class Experience

Beginner Level
This lesson follows a Syllabus (16 lessons) (see below for specifics). Although there is a syllabus, this class is flexible and you're not required to pay for all 16 lessons. Class can be personalized. You can schedule as many classes as you want but it is recommended to follow the syllabus.

What will be taught?
- An fun an interactive introduction to Spanish for those learners wishing to start the journey of learning Spanish.

What topics will be covered?
- Greetings and goodbyes, alphabet and phonetics, adjectives and descriptions, essential verbs and other vocabulary, essential phrases, pronunciation, and sentence making.

How is your class structured and what's the teaching style?
- Following a syllabus but keeping class fun and interactive with games and other material. My syllabus and guide is based on the European Framework of Languages and Instituto Cervantes.

I like making a connection with my students and making sure I understand each individual's needs.

This class is fully interactive and teacher is fully engaged with the learner at all times.

Learning Needs
My lessons are built in a way to keep all students focused and entertained with games and activities. However there's no special methodology designed for specific learning needs.
Supply List
All you need is a bright willing attitude, a computer with good quality mic, good internet, a notepad and a pen/pencil.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Being born in Mexico and raised bilingual, I acquired key knowledge regarding ways of learning. I started teaching Spanish and English to indigenous communities in Mexico while in college and got certified to teach ELE/DELE (Spanish As A Second Language) in 2017. With more than 10 years of experience teaching different types of classes to people of different ages and at different levels.
