Assessment
Frequency: includedDetails: The students will be evaluated through formative assessments that include a pre-assessment, participation in class discussion, and an exit ticket aligned to the learning targets.
2 files available upon enrollmentA one page handout with key terms will be given out ahead of time. Students will also be given a list of optional extension activities.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We will learn about Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez's background, career and future from a neutral perspective and mention the support and opposition that she has received since emerging onto the political circuit.
Smithsonian Learner Lab, Time.com and History.com will be used.
