In this Writing Workshop style class, your student will learn to stretch a sentence with important details by answering key questions. This class is perfect for young writers that need help expanding their simple sentences into more detailed and well developed sentences. We will start with basic sentences, then learn how to answer very specific questions to stretch, or expand, the sentence with important details. We will also work on organizing the new details into a cohesive, fluent...
Students will have optional writing homework to reinforce what we learned in class and practice the new skill.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will be using an engaging slide show by sharing my screen with the students. They will not need to access any additional sources during class.
