In this class, students will learn different stretches that they can do to improve their flexibility! Stretching is crucial in preventing injury (especially for athletes) and can be helpful for dancers and gymnasts who require flexibility for many skills! We will begin the class with a short warm-up so that everyone's muscles are warm before we stretch them out. I will then lead the class through a series of stretches that will focus primarily on muscles in the legs and hips, but will also...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
As this course includes a lot of movement, your learner will need need a safe, open space and clothes they are able to stretch in. They are also encouraged to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. It is not necessary to do any stretching beforehand!
