In this one time class, students will learn how to expand simple sentences into detailed sentences in order to create a ‘mental picture’ for the reader to convey clearer meaning of their writing.

I will teach students how to write detailed sentences so that the reader can create a mental picture of the text and a clear understanding. I will use digital charts and practice forms during our class time. Students will need paper, pencil and/or a dry erase board and markers to practice writing detailed sentences.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
