Class Experience
I will teach students how to write detailed sentences so that the reader can create a mental picture of the text and a clear understanding. I will use digital charts and practice forms during our class time. I will model using the 5 Ws & H (who, what, where, why, when, and how) to demonstrate writing detailed sentences by adding adjectives and adverbs. Students will demonstrate knowledge of writing detailed sentences by expanding simple sentences with adjectives and adverbs to convey precise meaning.
Students will need paper, pencil and/or a dry erase board and markers to practice writing detailed sentences.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will use several digital anchor and practice charts during our class time.
