Each week, we will begin by introducing ourselves and our stuffed animals. Then, I will lead students in a few stretches. Each stretch will be named after an animal and will resemble that animal to keep the students engaged and help them visualize what the stretch should look like. I'm a college exercise science major with a minor in autism spectrum disorders. I volunteered at a children's therapy clinic, where I assisted in a preschool yoga class for kids with and without disabilities.

While there is very little risk associated with this course, physical activity of any kind always poses the risk of injury. It is recommended that parents stay nearby during the class to ensure their child's safety. Carpeted surfaces and/or yoga mats help reduce the risk of injury.
