Description
Class Experience
Neuroscience Physician Assistant for 10 years at Johns Hopkins, MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) instructor with UMASS training.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class is not psychotherapy or medical advice- it is intended only to encourage introspection on the learners part, along with various techniques and practices to generically minimize stress and increase mood. Also, in week 3 I invite learners to hold an ice-cube in their hand for a few minutes- and tell them in my video to get permission from their parent- if there is any medical reason why they would be more sensitive to cold temperatures on the skin of their hand, please tell them not to participate in this activity and let me know, I will be happy to provide an alternative.
