In this camp, we'll learn some of the key strategies for chess. Players will learn to identify and use these tactics in their game through puzzles and play! We will practice life, social, and executive functioning skills.

Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will understand the tactics of chess. Students will have a variety of tactics they can employ when playing chess. Students will be aware of common opening traps and can avoid or execute as needed. Students will play defensively sound chess avoiding common tactics and traps.
I've been playing chess for twenty years and have taught over 300 students online to play
Learners can bring a chess set to enhance multi-sensory learning and practice. Learners will need a notebook and pencil.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
3 hours per week in class, and no time outside of class.
