Strategies to Understand Entitled, Disrespectful, Spoiled, Behavior.

Sometimes children get a case of the "give it to me" or I will have a meltdown! We will cover disrespect, listening and entitlement together. Can also be taught as a private lesson.

Welcome! Let’s talk about entitlement. Have you ever said β€œno” and been met with a flood of anger? In appropriate words, nasty tone of voice, complete meltdown or even door slamming and throwing items? That is not a behavior that coincides with a peaceful relationship or home. This class is not therapeutic in nature.

There are many different ways to look at entitled behavior. In this class we will discuss differing view points as well as behavioral traits. If we only look at this from one side, we will only recognize what we already know. In this class, we will go over not only recognizing behavioral traits, but the ramifications of choosing this demanding attitude. Let's learn together!

Listening the first time! Understanding why communication is important for a calm conversation.

The words we use and the tone we choose. Screaming isn’t the answer, nor is adding drama or disrespectful language.

Complete meltdown! How to recognize our triggers and find a way to calm ourselves before we react negatively.

Expectations! I DESERVE a new game, toys, cell phone. Do you?

Discussion topics will include: What vs. Need, Find what works, Earning what you want, Comparing what we have to others.

All children are welcome in my classes. I teach in a fun, interactive manner.

The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.
