Description
Class Experience
We will go over what types of questions are asked on the Reading section of the SAT test. We will talk about test-taking strategies that are specific to that portion of the SAT test. We will also go over practice questions that are just like the questions asked on the SAT test. There will also be questions for students to practice with during the class, as well as opportunities to ask questions and interact with fellow students. The material will be presented in a lecture format with slides...
Students will improve their understanding of the concepts and types of questions in the Reading portion of the SAT test.
I have taught SAT test preparation courses in Minnesota since 2008. I enjoy helping high school students be prepared for the SAT test.
Students will be given a copy of a practice test for the Reading section of the SAT test before the class starts. Students will also be given a link to the slides after the class has finished so they can review them at their leisure.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
