US Grade 9 - 12
We will go over what types of questions are asked on the math section of the ACT test. We will talk about test-taking strategies that are specific to that portion of the ACT test. We will also go over practice problems that are just like the questions asked on the ACT test. There will also be problems for students to practice with during the class, as well as opportunities to ask questions and interact with fellow students. The material will be presented in a lecture format with slides (students will get a copy of the slides to be able to review on their own). Students should have background knowledge in at least Algebra 1 and Geometry (Algebra 2 is also preferred).
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of the concepts and types of questions in the math portion of the ACT test.
