In this ongoing course, we will learn strategies to multiply and divide multi-digit numbers! We will learn different strategies to solve similar problems such as area models, partial quotient, box method, long division, and standard algorithm. Join in the week of the strategy/strategies you want your learner to know or learn them all! Each class, we will follow the "I Do" (Teacher Led), "We Do" (Guided practice), and "You Do" (Independent Practice" model of teaching and learning. We will utilize models, music, real-world scenarios, and games to assess our knowledge. Almost all instruction will take place via Shared Screen in Zoom where I will share videos, real-time examples, and Google Slides. Leaners will interact by the raise-hand function in Zoom, the chat box, and directed assignments. We will visit different strategies to complete the same skill! Week 1: Multiplying with Box Method Week 2: Multiplying by Breaking Apart & Partial Product Week 3: Multiplying with Standard Algorithm Week 4: Dividing with Area Model Week 5: Dividing with Partial Quotient Week 6: Dividing with Long Division

Statement for External (3rd Party Websites): The sites included in materials that will be utilized do not require accounts to be made, only certain codes for instructional games and/or assignments. They do require students to visit these websites and a link will be provided to students in the chat when applicable. All websites used are also instructional tools that I have used in education for 5+ years where content is created and shared by myself.
