In this ongoing course, we will learn strategies to multiply and divide multi-digit numbers! We will learn different strategies to solve similar problems such as area models, partial quotient, box method, long division, and standard algorithm. Join in the week of the strategy/strategies you want your learner to know or learn them all! I can use different strategies to multiply and divide large numbers.
Homework will range from assigned, specific problems, Nearpod and/or Lumio assignments (codes given in class), and/or Quizizz. Homework will be reviewed in the following class. It will only require about 30 minutes of time per week, depending on proficiency in the courses.
Notebook and paper
Parents will receive a written report per week of student's understanding.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Statement for External (3rd Party Websites): The sites included in materials that will be utilized do not require accounts to be made, only certain codes for instructional games and/or assignments. They do require students to visit these websites and a link will be provided to students in the chat when applicable. All websites used are also instructional tools that I have used in education for 5+ years where content is created and shared by myself.
