1 hour per week. Students should watch the episode of STRANGER THINGS we will be discussing each week in advance.Class Experience
This club is designed for everyone from the casual fan to the most hard-core STRANGER THINGS expert. Even someone who has never seen the show before would enjoy this chance to virtually watch the show with a group of friends. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring their questions, thoughts, and insights to the meetings. But if learners just want to listen, that's OK too. Topics each week are chosen by the club. We discuss individual episodes. We talk about characters. Trivia games have been played and tier lists have been created. We've written our own Season Five potential storyline. Show and Tell is welcome. Whatever anyone wants to suggest.......as long as it's related to STRANGER THINGS, we'll give it a try! And, I'll bring my own questions each week to go beyond the narrative itself. We'll focus on things like the questionable and believable science aspects of the series, the "fashion" of the 80s, the importance of shopping malls in cinema of the time, Dungeons and Dragons, and how single camera shows are filmed for example. Expect a lively discussion with fellow fans about your favorite show and its actors and their previous/current work. Reach out to me with any questions!
Learning Goals

Teacher expertise and credentials
Master's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from UC San Diego
I am a director by trade and training. However, I am especially qualified to lead this class as I am the exact same age as the main crew of the series--Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, and Eleven.
