In this one-time course, Santa will read "The Night Before Christmas" to the class and have each child share their Christmas list.

Santa will read the original version of "Twas The Night Before Christmas", taking time to allow the kids to discuss what each of the phrases means. Santa will then go around the "room" engaging each child in a discussion about what they would like for Christmas. Students will be given the opportunity to interact with Santa one-on-one, and parents will have the opportunity to review the video of the Santa/student dialogue to verify what their child asked for and what he/she/they discussed with Santa.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the origin and meaning of the original phrases from the 19th century English poem.
