Intermediate Level
In this course, your child will delve into essential reading comprehension skills through engaging and interactive lessons. Here’s what you can expect: How is your class structured? Each lesson will consist of a video that begins with a teacher-led introduction to the day’s topic, followed by an interactive picture book read aloud paired with teacher model of the comprehension skill of the day and student practice through corresponding handouts. Students will then apply what they’ve learned and practice their comprehension skills through games. Each lesson should ideally take around 20-30 minutes to complete. Students will participate during each lesson through activities such as student practice handouts, and through the Kahoot games. Students can submit their work through photo or video (optional). I will send feedback within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).
