Class Policies:
1. I will admit students to the classroom right at the scheduled time, even if not every student is present. However, students that arrive later than 10 minutes to class will not be permitted due to safety concerns because dance is a physical class. If there is a technical issue and I cannot enter the classroom, I will contact parents through the classroom page and I will also contact Outschool.
2. I will always finish class as close to the scheduled amount of time as possible. Depending on low enrollment numbers or extended discussion for very active speakers, the class may run a few minutes short or long.
3. If no students are present in the classroom when class is meant to begin, I will wait 10 minutes before exiting. Once I exit the classroom, the class will be considered finished.
4. Appropriate dance clothes are required! Please make sure your learner is wearing a leotard (any color), tights and ballet shoes. Ballet skirts are permitted. Workout attire and non slip socks are also permitted. (Please no crop tops or sports bras). Hair also needs to be pulled out of the learners face preferably in a ballet bun.
5. Parents are not permitted to dance alongside their learners on screen. This is a safety policy via Outschool.
6. For siblings enrolled in the same class (at the same time), I offer a 20% discount for the sibling. Please note they must be in the same class & section to qualify. Simply sign up your children for class(es) as usual, send me a message, and I will process a 20% refund on their enrollment afterwards. You will receive a refund email to show the refund has been processed!
7. Please make sure learner knows how to mute and unmute their devices to ask questions. If they need help, it is advised to have a parent or guardian available to help during class time.
