Would you like to go on a space adventure? Space is an amazing place with so much to see! Join me for storytime to find out what the planets Mercury and Venus are like! In this class designed for learners ages 3-5, students will learn about the first 2 planets in our solar system. They will discover details such as the colors of the planets, their size relative to the earth and sun as well as what it is like on the surface of the planet. We will have the help of original characters who love outer space and who also learn important life skills along the way. I will encourage my students to interact, ask questions, and importantly have fun in class. After listening to each story we will do a fun coloring or drawing activity and review what we have learned. There is no prior experience necessary. Just come with a love for reading and space. I am a volunteer children’s educator, teaching children for the past 10 years in various classroom settings (ages 4-18). Some of my favorite volunteer opportunities involved teaching reading comprehension, public speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing.
