Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Join me in multiple reading adventures, where stories will come to life. In each class we will explore a letter of the alphabet. We will practice the beginning sound it makes. Once the letter is identified we will play a game, watch a short video clip/song, or read a story together. We will emphasize the spotlight letter while completing these fun activities together.

I believe that learning can be fun and exciting. My goal is to assist your child in learning the beginning sounds of their letters while also creating an imaginative and fun vibe in my classroom. There will be many opportunities for your child to participate in games, songs, and much more. Participation is encouraged but active listeners are welcome as well. Students do not need to have any prior knowledge to join this class. Each class will focus on a different letter of the alphabet.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, my name is Ms. Tasha. I have many years of experience working with children in various classroom settings. With four years of experience working in a virtual classroom, I am confident that your learner will feel comfortable and excited to come to class. I also have a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, with a concentration in Psychology. I have completed many English and Writing courses throughout my college adventure as well. I am excited to share my love of reading and writing with your students.

I will be offering mostly reading and writing based classed geared toward all levels. My classes are designed to enhance reading skills. Learners will increase reading fluency and improve comprehension. As for writing courses, learners can gain valuable skills to develop their writing ability in many different genres. While I mostly focus on reading and writing skills, I also offer classes involving animals, Disney movies, dress up, and much more.

I believe that children retain most information if they can connect to the material they are learning about. I strive to create a upbeat, fun classroom where all students feel excepted and free to express themselves. Learning can be fun when taught in creative and exciting ways. All of my offered classes are designed to keep your learners engaged with activities. Learners also participate in discussions and gain instruction in a positive learning environment.
I look forward to meeting your learners soon!
