Class Experience

In this class, kids are taught to engage with stories in a fun and interactive way, sparking their creativity and enhancing their listening and comprehension skills. We’ll explore exciting topics like story themes, characters, and imaginative problem-solving through a lively book reading followed by a related craft.

The class is structured into three parts: an engaging story read-aloud, interactive discussions where kids can share their thoughts, and an arts and crafts activity to bring the story to life.

I use an encouraging teaching style, asking questions and supporting kids to participate throughout. My approach is fun and relaxed, designed to inspire confidence, curiosity, and creativity!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my class.

I've spent the last fifteen years writing, screenwriting, and creating content. I've homeschooled my daughter for the last four years and have had the opportunity to teach in many homeschool outreach programs and co-ops. In addition, I have a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology, and in 2011, I completed the TFT UCLA Screenwriting Professional Program post-grad.

I’m also the author of the story we’ll be reading in this classβ€”it’s a fun and engaging tale that highlights the importance of diversity. I can’t wait to share it with your kidsβ€”I’m pretty sure they’re going to love it!
