1 live meeting
25 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this class, learners will show each other their lego people and create characters for their story together. We will talk about what kinds of things go into a story. These are the story elements. We will discuss character, setting, plot (sequence of events) problem and solution. *There is no weekly breakdown because each week, the story flows with the learner's ideas with my guided facilitation (student led instruction). Students do not need any experience or prior knowledge. *This class meets all learners of diverse abilities and levels. For the ones new to telling stories, they will experience enough structure to be able to develop stories and participate well. For the more advanced students, they will practice confidence in providing strong ideas in this collaborative atmosphere!
Learning Goals
It is my heart that your child feels comfortable and safe to share their ideas and create with others. They will develop the skills needed that go into writing stories, because telling stories orally is crucial in the development of a writer!
