In this class, we will read about the first man to photograph snowflakes, Wilson Bentley, and learn about the process that he went through to photograph snowflakes in Vermont. We will explore some of the images that he was able to capture using a camera as well as the challenges he faced photographing something so fragile. After our story, we will build our own snowflakes using a few easy supplies (marshmallows and toothpicks or dry spaghetti). The class will end with an optional sharing of...
