Class Experience

Students will snuggle up with their favorite stuffed animal and listen to an animated and silly story called "If You Give A Pig A Pancake!" Story time will begin with a close look at the book's title and front cover picture. Students will guess and share what they think the story will be about. Students will listen to me read the book and think about how the characters feel throughout the story. At the end of the reading, students will think about their favorite part of the story. I will demonstrate drawing my favorite part, and then the students will draw their own. They will practice adding detail to their picture. Students will share their drawings at the end of class.
