Coming to you live from the DC-area, professional theatre artists use their actor's toolbox (imagination, body, and voice) to bring favorite children's stories to life. Participants are encouraged to sing and dance along! We explore the animals, shapes, seasons, and other themes with games, songs, and movement activities. Each class begins with favorite children's songs. Then the teaching artist will read a new story every week. Following the story, participants will be invited to do call and response and guessing games, use their imagination as they move and explore sounds. We will close with a few more songs. Every week is a new experience!
