Get ready for a new adventure with the jazz fly! This book is the sequel to the award winning story of a fly who only speaks jazz. This time he meets many new animal and buggy friends while having to learn a little Spanish to get by. This sequel has colorful, engaging illustrations your young learner will love. The class will be divided into three parts: 1. We will learn a few Spanish words and phrases, just like our hero the jazz fly. 2. Students will enjoy a fun reading of the book from the teacher, including time to see the wonderful pictures of each animal and scene. 3. Finally we will learn some fun facts about many of the animals in the book, such as the macaw and ant eater. Students are encouraged to sign up for Story Time: The Jazz Fly to hear the original story before this class. This book is used with permission from the author.

Hello parents,
I teach music classes for all ages, many of which can be taken without prior music experience. I also offer math tutoring and in the future hope to offer creative writing classes. Before coming to Outschool, I taught general music and band in public schools, as well as tutoring students in math and language arts.
I hold a master's degree in music composition, and a bachelor's degree in music theory and composition. For over twenty years I have written music for a variety of instruments and genres. I have also been a regular performer in classical, rock, blues, and jazz bands as a tubist, trombonist, and bass guitarist.
