Description

Class Experience

In this one-time interactive class, students will practice active listening and participate in a fun gingerbread story.  The teacher will read "The Gingerbread Boy," by Richard Egielski. Learners will search for the gingerbread boy on each page of the story, and learn a short chant as they go on an adventure with the gingerbread boy. This class is taught in English.

The learner will:
- Have fun with the story
- Practice active listening
- Repeat a short chant
- Repeat the story sequence

I am a former kindergarten classroom teacher, and have also taught young learners online for 4 years. I have a passion for early childhood education, and believe that learning should be fun!

A one-page handout will be provided.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
