US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
This class's focus is on comprehension. Each class will begin with a quick hello and introduction of the "Pete the Cat" book for that day. I will read the "Pete the Cat" book to the students. After reading the book, we will review the story together and discuss what we remember about the story. We will discuss the book using the who, what, where, when, and how questions! Example questions: "Who is the story about? What happened in the story? Where are they? When did _____ that happen? How...
I love to read. I decided to do this class because my own children struggle with reading comprehension. This really touches close to home for me. I have since started reading to my own children and discussing what the stories are about and have noticed an improvement in my own children's reading comprehension. I am choosing to share my love of reading with you and your child.
