Chinese Lunar New Year is coming! Let's read the story, "Mulan's Lunar New Year" (copyright belongs to Disney) by Natasha Yim, and find out how Mulan spent her favorite holiday! This story tells about some customs and things to do during the Lunar New Year. What did the Mulan family do from the last day of the year to the first day of the Chinese New Year? Follow along with Mulan in this special Lunar New Year story that captures the unique sense of magic, imagination, and possibility that surrounds the holiday. After the story, students are going to make a Chinese papercut, "春", which is one of the traditional decorations to make during the Lunar New Year.
