Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to engage with a text. Students will be able to discuss ways that birds and bats are similar and different. Students will learn new fun facts about bats.
My students have loved this lesson for many years and they love Stellaluna. I love introducing new characters and authors to my students.
If students are not able to complete their activity, they may finish up after class.
A handout will be provided for the activity. Please have it printed before class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Stellaluna gets lost at the beginning of the story. Her mother is attacked by an owl.
