Class Experience

Welcome to story time and sign language for beginners! We will be reading the story Green Eggs and Ham written by Dr. Suess. 

I will begin class by teaching the children how to introduce themselves in sign language. Next, we will begin our exciting and interactive story time! After reading the story, the children will learn how to sign the book with me, they will learn around 30 signs! After learning the signs we will read the story a second time, but this time with a twist! The children...

I have been fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) for 10 years and have studied the language for 16 years. I have my double certificate in ASL from International Open Academy and am heavily involved in the Deaf community in my area. I love children, ASL, and reading! I am excited to expand my knowledge to your children through this exciting one-time class!
