Class Experience

Welcome to story time and sign language for beginners! We will be reading the story Chicka Chicka 1 2 3 written by Bill Martin Jr. 

I will begin class by teaching the children how to introduce themselves in sign language and they will each be taught how to spell their names in ASL individually. Next we will begin our exciting and interactive story time! After reading the story the children will learn how to count from 1-100 in sign language. I have been fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) for 10 years and have studied the language for 16 years. I have my double certificate in ASL from International Open Academy and am heavily involved in the Deaf community in my area. I love children, ASL, and reading! I am excited to expand my knowledge to your children through this exciting one-time class!
