Story Time and Scavenger Hunt: Let's Learn About Colors!
In this one time class, students will review colors and be introduced to the ASL signs for color words. I will read Bear Sees Colors and then we will have a color scavenger hunt!

Welcome to story time with Ms. Paula. After we introduce ourselves, I will use color cards and fun objects to review colors. We will practice saying and identifying the colors together. Then I will read a book about colors. During this class learners will be asked reading comprehension questions to help develop their thinking process, broaden their speech and language skills and build their confidence in expressing themselves using words. The story will be followed by a color scavenger hunt. All students will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of colors, by quickly finding something of each color, in a fun scavenger hunt.
