This class is perfect for little learners that LOVE listening to stories. Each class we will read a book, talk about what happened and build the skills that children need to develop to become independent readers.
Class Experience
Sharing books and exploring stories is one of my favourite things. There is so much opportunity to grow children's knowledge and Did you know there are important skills that you need to learn to be able to read? In our sessions I will introduce these important pre reading skills and provide opportunity to practice these skills. - Students will improve their listening skills
- Students will learn pre-reading skills based on their level and the level of the group. This will include orally breaking words into syllables and blending syllables to identify the mystery word.
