Class Experience

This is a one time story time. 
I will read the story Huggapotamus by Steve Metzger. The story is about a little hippopotamus whose mom and dad nick name him huggapotamus because they love giving him hugs. The little hippo, Albert, learns about friendship and love as he stomps and races to give his friends the biggest hugs he can. We will discuss what Albert learns and what feelings he and his friends experience throughout the story. 

After we read the story I will show students step by step...
