Description

Class Experience

During this story time adventure, students will enjoy an enthusiastic read aloud by the teacher. 

Students will be encouraged to interact with the teacher via engaging questioning throughout the class. 

Class time will be structured in the following way: 
1) welcome & greetings 
2) pre-reading questions
3) teacher read aloud, with interactive questioning to enhance comprehension
4) post-reading reflection 
5) ending song and good-bye 

My goal is to make sure every child feels safe, secure,...

1) Respecting other students: listening, speaking one at a time
2) To ask and answer questions as they feel prompted [teacher led as needed]
3) Use of illustrations to tell a story

The Berenstain Bears series is a fun series that engages early readers! My experience in reading skills and questioning strategies, along with my love to be theatrical while reading, makes me an excellent teacher for this class!
