During this story time adventure, students will enjoy an enthusiastic read aloud by the teacher. Students will be encouraged to interact with the teacher via engaging questioning throughout the class. Class time will be structured in the following way: 1) welcome & greetings 2) pre-reading questions 3) teacher read aloud, with interactive questioning to enhance comprehension 4) post-reading reflection 5) ending song & say good-bye My goal is to make sure every child feels safe, secure, included; and has a fun story time experience. The rhyming nature of the story gives it a sing-songy feel as small bear learns safety tips from Papa Bear. An old classic from 1968, the 5th book written by the Berenstains' [did you know there are over 300 books by the Berenstains'?].
