Description

Class Experience

Students will be assigned a section of the book to read each week.  As a group, we will discuss the events of the assigned reading in a respectful manner giving all students the chance to respond if they so wish to during class.  We will listen on audible, read aloud, and answer literacy questions throughout the book.  The students will enjoy learning literacy skills in a fun and engaging way.
Week 1: Introductions, Chapter 1 
(Homework Chapters 2-5)
Week 2: Chapter 6
(Homework Chapters...

You will be required to read or listen to 4-5 chapters every week.  If we get a good discussion going, you may have to finish the chapter we begin in class as well.  This book is available on Audible for listening.   It is also a great idea to have at least one talking point to bring to class to discuss.  This can be a favorite part, a clue, a funny quote.....
