1 hour per week. The basic tool for the class is the story bucket. Each learner will prepare for class a personal story bucket. Story buckets are containers filled with elements of the story representations. The story bucket serves as a tactile and interactive way for children to explore stories, encourage individual and group interaction with the story. It provides a multi sensory experience. I have included a video of me unpacking my own story bucket for our first class simply as a guide. The value of the story bucket is the personalization and unique contents that a child assembles. The learner will present all, some or none of the materials to the class.Certificate of Completion
Each child will receive a certificate of completion after completion of course highlighting a personalized achievement.Class Experience

Learning Needs
Story TIme with Friends at Outschool is designed to promote pre readiness skills for writing and promote social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills through an interactive virtual class.
Parental Guidance
Storytelling is a vital tool for community, offering a means of self-expression, empowerment, advocacy, and connection. It serves as both a mirror and a window: reflecting individual and collective experiences while opening up new ways of seeing and understanding the world. By nurturing the art of storytelling, the community can continue to create change, build solidarity, and ensure that their voices are heard and celebrated for generations to come.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I will provide a resource package for each lesson for the learner to extend the lesson outside of the classroom. None of the activities are ever required but encourage a love for storytelling and books.
