In this ongoing class, students will read a mini-book for emergent readers and some complex sentences for early readers. Each story will be followed by comprehension questions to check for understanding.

1. Reading comprehension will be taught 2. Reading and listening comprehension will be covered depending on the reading levels of the students 3. Introductions, Reading of short story, Reading of comprehension questions, find answers in text, and discuss reading comprehension strategies for young learners. 4. I believe in a happy classroom where students are safe to express themselves and make personal connections with their learning. 5. Students will interact throughout the class Each week will feature 1 or 2 emergent/early readers
